Reds Hire Dusty Baker As Their Manager
Dusty Baker and the Reds agree to three-year deal to manage the team. I actually think this was a very good hire for the Reds.

I really liked Dusty but Cin still lacks a lot of talent.

Word! If Cincy doesn't fix their lack of talent. It won't matter who manages. Simple as that.

I've been a Reds fan since the mid 70's and the last few years have been very painful to watch. They have had so many personelle problems and very very few bright spots. So it won't matter who manages this team. Saying that tho, i have no time for Baker as a manager, and if the Reds actually did have a chance to win, his hiring as their manager would clearly be a step in the wrong direction IMO.

Everything, and I mean everything is in place for the Reds to make a run into the playoffs. Bullpen, Starting rotation, and offense all top 3 in the NL. If this ship starts to sink Dusty has to be thrown over board. there are no excuses this year.

The Dusty love back in '07 was amazing. Wow.

Watch the Reds play one game, and you'll see how much he struggles with in-game situations and decision making.
