    Another examples of mangers who don't know shit
    Cubs bring in Big Z in relief right now in the Cubs and Nats game. Who do they bring him in against? Josh Willingham who is SEVEN FOR TWELVE against Zambrano. And as I type this, Willingham singles.

    Z replaced Sean Marshall who had only thrown 6 pitches... WTF!?

    Seriously, what goes through a manager's head when they make such bonehead moves or are they trying to rig the game?

      How can you justify it being the right move? Z gave up a single to Willingham and was lucky to escape that inning after going 3-1 on the next batter, almost loading the bases.

      If it's an example of a manager "trying to build confidence in a dangerous situation" it was a risky and stupid move.

        because 7-12 is a meaninglessly small stat to base a matchup on, more important would be that fact the Willingham crushes lefties (900 OPS carrer, 1.000 OPS over the last two years)
