    Anyone like Pitt tomorrow... +185...
Duke is one of the most underrated pitchers in the league and Gallardo is one of the most overrated... If this were in Pitt, it'd be a no brainer (obviously not quite the =+185 but still close)... Any thoughts?!?!

Id see if you can squeeze a little more value out of that line before you pull the trigger.

Great value in this pick. I don't see anyone could lay that much juice on the Brewers.

I'm on the Brewers RL. Dukes career numbers are horrible against the Brewers and last time Gallardo threw against the Pirates he threw 5 scoreless and struck out 10. They both matched up 5 days ago and the Brewers won 8-0. I'll take a 4-2 or 5-2 victory on the Brew Crew.

I don't like to play on cold teams like Pirates but Brewers are not hot lately either. The key factor here is, -and it makes to bet on Pirates- Brewers just swept Pirates at Pittsburgh. So Pirates will be motivated to not get swept again, I won't be surprised if they win 1 game in these series. I will chase Brewers at home but I will skip Game-1 because Pirates have a chance to win this one. Duke is a good pitcher, much better then other Pittsburgh pitchers but Pirates' bullpen sucks. You may consider First 5 Innings bet maybe?

Last week @pit the brewers outscored pit 38-1 in 3 games. Duke started the 2nd game which ended 8-0. Even if duke is perfect through 7 innings that still leave 2 innings of relief pitching and you can't count on pit to score.

I agree with some of the other people I'd take Pitt for the first innings cause I see that as their best chance at taking the lead and holding it is while Duke is pitching.

Betting on bad teams while getting bad lines equals a bad idea.

This is a team that is 24-65 on the road the last 2 years. Catching +185 with this team on the road is not a winning proposition. Especially considering as nitty mentioned they haven't won in milwaukee for like 22 straight games. They just got outscored at home by this same team 38-1 in the series and 8-0 in the same pitching matchup. I admit Gallardo is overrated overall but not at home. He carries a 3.13 career era there which is more than a full run better than his road numbers. Gallardo is 2-0 with a s 2.25 era in 4 career starts vs Pitt at home and the Brewers are 4-0 in those games. On the other side Duke is 0-5 with a 7.38 era in 9 career starts in Miwaukee and the Pirates are 0-9 in those games. Value doesm't have to have a plus sign in front of it. The value lies with Milwaukee tonight.

Duke is 0-5 with an 8.63 ERA in his last seven starts versus the Brewers and 3-6 with a 5.73 ERA in 14 career outings. He has never won at Milwaukee, going 0-5 with a 7.38 ERA in nine starts.

This was an excellent point. I think it is a mental issue when a pitcher has so much failure w a particular team. No matter how good the pitcher has been progressing, constant failure against certain teams weighs heavily on their minds- not a good thing at all. Finding a medium to big dog who HAS had historic success against a particular team is always a great bet. I had pitt and la angels, but had I read/researched the poor record Duke vs Bucks I would have passed or took shot with Bucks r-line.
