    Let me get this straight
    At Sportsbook a while back, I had the under on a BOS/TB game that was delayed and eventually completed the next day and they refunded my money, saying there was no play.

    Yet tonight, I had the Braves and it's a lost wager?

    Huh?

    tonights game went 6 innings and the mlb rules say that is enough to be counted as a game if it gets rained out. They will not re-start it. If it is less than that they have to finish the game another time. If they have to restart the game another game your bet pushes and you will have to re-bet on new pitchers most likely. dumb I know.

      Game was called in what, top of the 6th? The game was already "official" and the Braves were losing, so you lose.

        Why? That doesn't make any sense -- if the game is finished on a different day, who gives an eff? As long as it's completed, the bet should count at that point in time, win or lose.

          Two different bets, RL and over/under needs to go 9innings or 8 1/2. ML 5 1/2 or 6.

            I had the O/U, and it went 9 innings -- it was just finished the next day.

              Im ALWAYS on the wrong side of these rain shortened games. I will either have the team behind, or I'll have the over on a 8-4 game cancelled in the 8th, in which I just get my money back. Never fails.

                Me too. Same with bloody tennis as well. Flippin player will retire when my play's ahead or I only need them to last 2 more games on their broken ankle for my bet to count. Hate pushing/losing like that.

                  The rules are the rules. Sometimes they work for you, sometimes against.

                    MLB Rule 4.10
                    (c) If a game is called, it is a regulation game:
                    (1) If five innings have been completed;
                    (2) If the home team has scored more runs in four or four and a fraction half-innings than the visiting team has scored in five completed half-innings;
                    (3) If the home team scores one or more runs in its half of the fifth inning to tie the score.
                    (d) If a regulation game is called with the score tied, it shall become a suspended game. See Rule 4.12.
                    (e) If a game is called before it has become a regulation game, the umpire shall declare it “No Game.”

                    Its graded loss because its officially called a game. They will not continue it.

                        I had ATL last night. Sucks but it was an official game. Totally different scenario than your total play.

                          5Dimes rules on o/u
                          The following propositions will be graded NO ACTION if a game does not go 8½-9 innings and is an official completed game on that day: team statistical match-ups, player match-ups (including total bases), team total runs, H-R-E wagers, or any wager involving an over/under format.
