    White Sox's weird offense
    2nd out of 30 teams in HR's
    3rd out of 30 teams in SB's
28th out of 30 teams in Batting Avg....

speed and power but they score more runs than anyone from the hr right now... not producing "ozzie-ball" results despite less base-cloggers and more speed guys....

Andrew Jones is carrying them all on his back, the guy is unreal.

Having JUAN PIERRE as your DH is pathetic though, he can barely get the ball out of the infield.

he can barely get the ball into the infield from the outfield..... so he is a liability on Defense....

Rios, Jones, and Teahen are the top hitters right now (and konerko's power)..... 3 hitters that brock said were horrible early on

I'm a little suspicious about Andruw Jones. The guy goes from being worthless in Los Angeles to now one of the best hitters in baseball. Doesn't add up.

Jones is one of the greatest talents ever in baseball..... he got paid big $ and quit carrying, got fat and stopped working and had some bad years...

he has rededicated himself, got into great great shape this off-season and is in a position to let his talent take over again.... he is just a tiny bit old, but not as old as you think, since he started so young...

and to be far, Pierre has only started like 4 games as DH, its a rotation

And six homers from Andruw, who would've though that?

Andruw is making an early bid for comeback player of the year....

I guess my point with the stats is that, the power and speed are there...... and should stay constant through-out the year barring injuries...(the power could fade a bit)

and the BA and OBP should regress up to the mean as guys get their ab's....

and while I think the Sox starting pitching is very over-rated.... I think they SHOULD get better to, and their bullpen looks pretty strong...

I think the sox will have a strong season all in all.... despite the slow start

Andruw was a joy to watch in his prime. Used to love watching the way he would catch flyballs. Would also make it look so easy

Agreed, I enjoyed the hell out of him in ATL every year except for his last season, which was tough to say the least.

Danks and the Chi Sox are a nice play, but yeah, you never what to expect from the offense?

i remember whenever i bet against the white sox i felt like they were cheating becasue they never constructed any runs from scratch! they just blasted homers! it made me sick.
