That was a big mistake Phillies

I noticed that Charlie Manuel received a 2 year contract extension yesterday. Even despite him winning that NL East this year I feel that was a big mistake on the Phillies part.

Lets face facts here... If the Mets could have won 2 more games this year, he would have been fired!

You can say that about any team. "If" there weren't a massive amount of bugs in Cleveland the Yankees would be playing tonight. The fact is that Manuel has no pitching. Thats not his fault. That team had an amazing streak the last month of the season. He got a lot out of the them.
