Anyone who knows me or has followed me knows I never give out games over -140.....I have several reasons for this pick im giving out today:
ASTROS -155 Wandy Rodriguez
Taking chalk in baseball or any sport for large amounts of money is just dumb to me.....If you take a team -150 and lose you have to go 2-0 (Based on 2 +100 winners) the next 2 days just to be +.5 units. Here's my reasoning for todays pick.
Wandy started out shaky his first couple games but after watching his last start I can see he's fixed something because he was straight nasty and looked like a monster again........ He shut pitts out at home last year , his best performance of the season whiffing 11 walking 0 if i remember correctly.....He's a home beast in general as well, almost a night and day pitcher home-away.
Pitts has been struggling horribly with the bats......It's funny because im not a Pirates fan but I tend to watch about half of their games throughout the season either betting on or against them.....They are a very streaky team and I cap them as good as any other team in mlb.
The pitcher for pittsburgh Jackmybiscuits, is abolutely horrid......Flattest fastball out of any starter in mlb last year and he hums it in there at 87 with no out pitch.......Even the dismal Astros should pummel this guy for 5 or 6 runs tomorrow.
Last but not least, my biggest reason for going with this pick is its Saturday Saturday is just my absolute WORST day of the week all year long in mlb. So I said tonight Im going with the game I like most and not looking at any prices until making it. This was my choice.
Shocking to say but believe it or not I think Houston is sick value today at -155......I think smart BIG money is going to hammer this game, so I'd bet it early.
