Brock, Atilano's a tight pitcher - great ERA the past 2 years in AAA, strong strikeout to walk ratio - so I'm hoping the fact it's his debut will shake him up for you and get you the runs you need. I'd be a bit too unsure to take the over on this one but you're the master of the rubberband so what in the hell do I know?

When this play was posted...the listed pitchers were HAEGER for LA and MARQUIS for WASHINGTON, that has since changed to an unkonn pitcher for WASHINGTON. But the RUBBERBAND play stands...

Atilano is making his major league debut against the number one offense in MLB. He will pound the strike zone and get grounds balls, so the defense behind him will be key. He is a talented kid but he lacks a solid offspeed pitch, so LA will be able to tee off on the fastballs. Haeger's knuckleball isn't near as good as Wakefield's, yet. I'm sure he'll continue to work on it. His first start was quite the anomaly for him with regard to knuckle movement. The movement in his last start was closer to his career and he got lit up.
