What is keeping Milwaukee from winning that division? They have the bats to compete with anyone, maybe one more very good starting pitcher. Who is their top guy in the minors? Would help to have a better closer too, Hoffman is 5 years past his prime

Brewers have no pitching prospect of any value that is ready to pitch at the major league level. Top pitching prospect is a pot-head. Can't believe they have two catchers at AAA that are better than either of their catchers on their major league roster.

Wolf pitches strikes. Only guy hitting for pit is leadoff. Brewers bats heating up and pitching coming on. I see them starting a stride the last 4 games and this without Fielder hitting. He is right there though. usually has slow starts but his swing is ready to crush. Confidence building for the Crew and I expect some big things out of them in the coming weeks. Ride the wave!

The Big Bad Wolf will keep the already crappy Pit bats at bay. Mil averages 5.5 runs per game to Pit's 3.8. Add in the better starting pitcher. I don't see how this one will even be close.

That said, it's MLB and anything can happen! Wolf could take one off the noggen in the first and change everything.

I think Pirates get it done in this spot. +150 at PNC Park is offering too much value. Take the Bucs and watch them battle to a 6-5 win. I will also jump on the over 9 runs

Bad pitching.

Brewers have been underachievers for a few years now......HORRIBLE manger for starters, Terrible pitching coach with maddux.......Bullpen has blown a million games for them.......Offense has plenty of potential and does their part.....Some of their starting pitchers have been attrocious (Villanueva,Parra, Bush, Livan, missing a cpl others).

Adding Wolf was good even though they overpaid for him. He will battle and be a good #2 man behind Gallardo who they might be overworking in my opinion.

Ken Macha is a horrible manager? I'd love to hear you back that up, and Maddux has been with the Rangers the last 2 years. I doubt the Rangers would lure away a "terrible" pitching coach with a hefty multi-year contract. And when exactly did the Brewers have Livan Hernandez.
