The only play with any value here is Tampa Bay ML. If you don't feel confident with that bet, my advice is that you're better off skipping this game and focusing on one of the other 7 today.

For what it's worth I'm leaning Tampa Bay but will be staying away from this game as I'd hate to be on the winning side when it seems so many people are dumping boatloads of cash on Boston primarily because of Lackey and the sweep factor. Boston is struggling right now and it's offence is shocking - sweep or no sweep they're not a safe team to bet on just because everyone else and their dog seems to be.

I'm on the rays ML (+165) and reverse run line -1.5 (+252) -- too much value to pass up, as far as I'm concerned.

I was leaning Boston, but late money seemed to be on the Rays. Changed my mind. It's early but the Rays are off to a good start.

Also took the over so I wouldn't mind this pace keeping up.

I'm not MLB expert but I saw the line, looked at the stats and figured it couldn't hurt as a light play. Is there anything super hidden that justifies the line and all-I took the Rays at 340. Cheers

Timmy - I ended up taking them too, both the ML and the under. I couldn't sit on it because everything was telling me it was the play although I didn't want to go against all the guys I like in TB's thread who I know will go big on them because TB did.

We've got this one though. I highly doubt the Red Sox can come back from being down 3.

Was that on a single bet or a parlay gig-and at what line(s) did you use? I'm still pretty shocked at the end result as I'm not really an MLB guy but saw the line and stats early this morn.

I did a straight bet 3000 to win 5010.... i got TB at +167
then I did a runline bet... TB + 1.5 -135.... 2000 to win 1481.48

Laid a decent sized play on the sox..they suck...I'm going to chase them the next 2 games though vs texas at home...It might not be smart, but I'm confident.

I was actually leaning towards Texas against the Sox tonight. Both teams haven't been hitting. But i think Wakefield is just what Texas needs to get their bats going. I see Vlad, Hamilton, Cruz, and Young peppering the green monster tonight.

Texas is on a 4 game losing streak and Boston on a 5 game losing streak.

Lewis is 2-0 on the season 2.19 era. He stuck out 10 his last start against Cleveland.
