Stay true to your philosophy, emphasis on the word true. Your counts are legit. As you can see, parlays are a tough way to go. But keep going, you could be legendary. I can't recall a legit parlay thread ever on the forum. Lots of guys get discouraged when their record get sour. That's when you learn from your selections.

one sweet night last week i wacked my book but good with about 5 parlays ranging in sizes of 2-5 teamers. i tried to remain level headed about this and make single selections with a larger amount risked. i picked 2 and lost 1 so im ahead in that aspect but guess what?: i still prefer the parlay. less risked $wise with a greater return plus they're no closer to getting that $ back than the night they credited my account so ima "keep on keepin on" with my nutty style and by that i mean: i seriously am multi wager addicted. i think it has to do with the way i was "molded" as a handicapper via the horse track. a boxed exacta(first 2 across the line) is my fav wager closely followed by a wager i stumbled across by accident if you will: the pick 3 and 4's
challenged by a friend to pick a winner one day in a particular race i proceeded to cap 3 races in the time it took him to look over 1. he pointed out a bet that enabled me to parlay those 3 selections-it hit and from there ive never looked at horse racing the same. pool sizes/odds/takeout/etc...

point being: whatever way you prefer to make the cake, keep on baking it that way.

Cecil127: Yup, I've been a day or two to the track my own self. I perfected a little something that is now referred to as the "Botched exacta" .

Looking at the board today, as a two-component parlay I love the Dodgers G1 over 7 and Houston under 9. Now, if only I had a dedicated two-component parlay thread to post it in...
