playing -2,5 instead of ml or -1,5 run line

i am very new to baseball, so this is a noob question:

is there more value in playing the -2,5 lines, at least for favourite teams?

it might be just a shot term observation but in much mores cases the winning (ml favourite) team also covers the spread of 2,5 which pay nearly double in cases like 1.65 ml / 3.20 -2,5.

i dont mean to bet this on every game but on the ones that are selected, f.e. the sportspicksbuffet "ultimate" best bets

on a short research i saw on the last 65 mlb games 35 wins with more than 3 points different.

maybe anyone more experience can help the baseball noob

Not a good approach. There's currently a couple of ongoing threads about runlines in both the baseball forum and the thinktank. Take a look at them first and they should answer most of your questions.
