    It does not make sense to me, teams are about even but their is a pitching mismatch

      how is there a mismatch? derek lowe has looked so far this year like he did last year. his better days are behind him now at 36.

              at that price lowe is a good bet. when you see him at -200 vs the national light beers and the like you fade city

                I think Lowe is a good bet at that price. He has good numbers against the Rockies & some of their top hitters over his career. Hammel has also been shelled by the Braves the past couple outings against them. I'm not too sure I like the over. It seems like 8.5 a bait play. plus the public is hammering the over. Staying away from that one.

                  are you saying Jason Hammel isn't a good pitcher?, because the number point the other way.

                  Last year he posted a 3.61 FiP, In 15 games started away from Coors he was 7-5 with a 3.13 ERA,
