    Congrats Astros backers
Astros need only 1 run to win this game and they've gotten it.

I'm huge on Astros. The Cardinals are forbidden from scoring runs whenever Bud Norris pitches against them.

I was at Minute Maid when he did JUST THAT in Game 5 of the '05 NLCS. Took the air right out of the stadium and sent me into a 24-hour depression. I hope for wilforth's sake you're wrong about it this time, lyon

Would you be referring to the hanging slider thrown by Brad Lidge that went off the train tracks???

Wasn't there but had a pretty good view at home..

Stros still won that series though right??

Yep, two nights later in St. Louis thanks to Jason Lane and Roy Oswalt. Ironically, the score in Game 6 was 5-1.

That loss in Game 5 screwed up the Astros rotation for the Series against the ChiSox (not sure it would have changed much since Houston bats went silent).

I was sitting in the Crawford Boxes for Game 5 of the NLCS. Thought that after following the team since 1962 I was finally going to see them win a game that put them into World Series. Wasn't to be.

well your team advanced to the Series.. Good for the organization. It took my Braves several chances before they ever won the series in 95'

Minute maid park looks like a nice place to watch a game and the Stros had a great year that year.. That was when the picked up carlos Belltran and he went nuts in the plaoffs..

Willie, it might have messed up the rotation the extra game but i think Chi Sox was on a mission that year and was one of the best teams I have seen in the modern era.
