Will Houston (+200) get the breakthrough?
    Let's look at 3 things:

    1) But Norris shut out the Cardinals the last time he pitched for Houston at this same venue. Houston won the game by 2-0 as a +250 road dog.
    2) Astros are 4-1 in Norris' L5 starts during Game 3 of a series
    3) Cardinals are 1-4 in Lohse's L5 starts during game 3 of a series

    What do folks think?

I took Astros... too much + money for a game that will most likely be a toss up

In the NHL yesterday, I cashed:

      Ottawa +185
      Colorado +205

The Astros/Cardinals game will be a low-scoring game in which the Cardinals don't have a decisive edge. I'm so happy you're on Astros. I'll do it too. +190 is too huge to pass up in a potentially close game.

Bud Norris has actually shut out the Cardinals in his L2 starts against them and the Astros won by 2-0 and 3-0, respectively. The line is also down from +200 to +190.

Stats are just Stats but one thing to also consider.... Bud Norris has pitched 13 career innings against Cards and they have scored 0 ZERO runs off him. Norris pitched poorly his first start of the season. At the end of the day Stros will nee to push probably at least 3 runs across but at +200 I am willing to take the chance.

I'm so happy about this play. I see at least 2 dog wins this afternoon. Zambrano will be lit like a Christmas tree. Brewers +150 is another good play out there.

Watch Kyle Lohse flirt with a no-no, and win 3-1.

Kyle Lohse has allowed 5 runs in the last 22 innings pitched versus houston- and now he gets this astros offense.

While the stats may help that +200 look enticing... I cannot bet on a team that has lost 8 in a row. Especially in MLB.

STL or no play for me (likely a no-play).

Best of luck with your pick.

Astros can't score. Hard to win games that way. I'm fading them for a while till they start scoring. They might go 3 - 20

What does that mean? You make bets on odds and probabilities in this world son. We ain't going all in on Houston.. If they lose again so be it... At +200 Houston creates too much value in this example with the pitching matchup. I myself have not bet Houston this year but couldn't pass it up after I considered this game a toss up and I will flip coins all day long at +200.

There's a law in baseball that forbids the Cardinals from scoring runs whenever Bud Norris pitches against them. Astros have won by 2-0 and 3-0 in his L2 starts vs. Cardinals. This one will end 2-0 or 3-0 as well.
