wakefield's numbers vs twins are skewed as the knuckler is very good in domes, that is not the case at the new field today. good luck i lean over as the red sox will exploit pitchers that do not throw strikes.

i'll be on the Twins as well, though not this big. my two cents: knuckleballers do much better in humid weather, but can get blown off the mound in April and September when the weather doesn't favor them. my brother-in-law lives in Minneapolis and i asked him for a weather forecast for gametime (noon CST). his response: it rained most of the night and is cooler today and is suppose to be windy this afternoon come game time. I would rate the humidity 4 on a scale of 10, if that.

I have no idea about the humidity helping knuckleballers, but I do live here in the Twin Cities and it is extremly humid today, on that scale, I would give it a 8 not a 4.
I have the AC on to cut the humidity down. Just a heads up.

Im a huge Twins fan, but, gotta go with Wakefield here. April is Tims best month with a career 26-22 pitcher with a 3.89 ERA. Lifetime against the Twins, Wakefield is 14-5 with 4.16 ERA.
Liriano is 0-2 with a 13.50 ERA in two career starts against Boston.
I like the Twins, but, I like cash money more.
