Vegas really has no choice but to juice this game heavily for the Phillies. The thing is, Hamels really isn't very good. He's average, but on a team with a great offense. Marquis actually has a good track record in his last couple starts against the Phillies, minus his first one this season.

This kind of number basically "forces" folks to put the Phils in a parlay if they wanna play them. We know how those usually unfold.

You're right, Hamels is average, and the numbers I looked at showed this, but I stupidly played them anyway. Now, the Phils may come back, but regardless of whether they do or not, the play was ignorant.

This game isnt over just yet. So this forbet is actually a good play. I made a similar play today on KC when they were behnd 2-0 @ +600 for KC. KC is now up 10-5. As for us Nats backers... IT wasnt tough backing them especially how they hit Santana yesterday. You mean to tell me they wouldnt hit Hamels??? Yeah right.

Could possibly come away with the win, but the problem is I hit a -280 line to get the same W that I generally play for +120. That's my only complaint with my play. Huge difference in money for the same f-in' result.
