What do you guys think about beckett vs. lackey in game 1?
I'm leaning towards boston with their offensive advantage. Any thoughts?

Definitely Angels. Some are spooked by Lackey's career record at Fenway, which I see as only a minor concern. The Angels are very competitive with Boston offensively.

I think the Angels will take game 1. Lackey can baffle hitters and I think Beckett will have a tough time with the angels slap hitters.

Beckett was much better on the road this season than at Fenway, but I think he'll pitch well enough for the Red Sox to take the opener.
