Holliday missed the plate but can't say I blame the ump....he's tired and human......calling him out infront of 50,000 people and being the villain probably weighed on him whether he wanted to admit it. The Rockies remind me of the Twin teams that won the World Series...scrappy and a ton of role players!!

Catcher dropped the ball anyway. I think that's why the ump delayed his call - just waited to see if the ball came out.

Ump didn't have the heart to say the guy missed the plate after all that.
