Betting volume isn't really the issue though. Baseball lends itself to high volume betting (2430 games a season). It's the combination of high volume, bad game selection (only 7 of the 44 were dogs), and flat betting that made this series of wagers unprofitable.

so true the chase has killed. kinda scary workin with the mls tho. i'm glad the first game of the series has been delivering and few chases have been necessary. any books offer -1 run lines standard or is it only for close games? i use bookmaker cuz they were decent with the ncaa tourney but i'm noticing much better lines posted and -1 lines which bookmaker rarely offers.
