Bet Teams On 3 game Winning streaks!!

Ive found this very profitable over the past 6 years. Im just to much of A degenerate to follow this. In this thread we will only pick teams that have won 3 games in a row for 1 unit. After they lose thats it.

So far this year there have been 7 games

April 9th

Minny +110 w +110

Oakland +120 w +120

San Fran +100 w + 100

3-0 +330

April 10th

Minny -135 w 100

Toronto +135 w 135

San Fran +105 L 100

Oakland +155 L 100

Playing a team that has won its previous 3 = 2025-1856 with the average line -120
Playing a team that has lost 4 in a row = 907-1150 with the average line +114

So long run these don't look to be very profitable. Fading teams on a L4 is up, but it only has a 2.5% ROI

Teams become entirely different depending on who the starting pitcher is. I'm not saying this strategy is bad, but it doesn't seem concrete enough in theory or practice.

Why do you think this will work in the long run? It clearly will not work in the long run. The stats show, and someone in this thread also brought it up, that this will win 52-55% of the time. But seeing as teams on 3 game winning streaks will almost always be favored, you won't get a very good price, and so you need to average a higher winning % to be profitable.
