Nothing today, looks like there will be a play tomorrow though.

Thank you Cubswin, the trick for me is I need to remind myself not to rush in. Lot of games going to be played, don't waste your bankroll early unless you got a feel for what's going on. Like everyone else I want to get out there and bet but I need restraint early. Some can do that, come out firing, I can not. I'm more a slow, cautious type of player when I'm handicapping a sport. No action on Friday game, it was called bottom of 9th and score tied 1-1. Would have loved to seen Red Sox get one more crack at winning it. Anyway record remains the same:

I'm getting off this play! I will pay the juice but no longer like it. For the record the play will still count, win lose or draw I will add it to my season totals. Only reason I'm posting I don't like the play now is if someone happened to stumble on this thread I think an under now is a dangerous play. With them in the 12th inning and still trying to finish the first game I don't like the under now at all. Again, play will count in my record, I'm just getting off it personally at this point. Whew, was able to save my money, I have to eat a paper loss here but who cares. I hate rain delays and finishing ballgames like they did tonight, I knew the bullpens were stretched and the starters possibly off their game as well. Anyway on to tomorrow....

HOMER ALERT, HOMER ALERT!!!

The Rays have a dynamite little team this year. I warned everyone before the season started that they were going to make some waves. I begged people to take the season total for the Rays and play it over even though I rarely bet these things. What impressed me the most was the bottom part of the starting rotation. I live down here and got a chance to watch them pitch a lot, Davis, Niemann and Price all have live arms. All have very good stuff. Those guys are the 3, 4 and 5 starters for this team. You count on your Ace and #2 guy to get wins, but when you have this kind of talent at the bottom of the rotation you are going to win a lot of ballgames. A LOT of ballgames.

Don't get me wrong, season isn't even 1/5th of the way over, but right now the bottom 3 starters for this team are 9-2 combined!! Price is 4-1 with a 1.91 ERA. Niemann is 2-0 with a 2.33 ERA. Davis is 3-1 with a 2.79 ERA. The top guys in the rotation have a very similar ERA and are 9-1 combined this year! Their save man is 8 for 8 in opportunities. While they've pitched well the scary part is they haven't really hit other than Longo and Crawford. Upton will finish at least 40 points higher, several other guys are hitting at or near career lows. Anyway just a quick timeout to remind you this team doesn't have the star power of the Yankees but that's why there is good opportunity to make money with the Rays. Not too late to get on the wagon, I'll save you a seat!!
