So...Who's gonna win the World Series?

Just figure I'd toss this out there, see who people are predicting and/or pulling for.

I'd like the RedSox to make it 2 times in the last 4 years personally, but who the hell knows. I'm sure not too many fans and "experts" thought St. Louis would hoist the trophy last year after an 83-79 campaign.

Hard to root against the Cubs or Phillies. One's gone a century without a title; the other has 1 championship in 125 years. Maybe it's got to be one of them, going off the law of averages, if there is such a thing.

Anyway, thoughts about who's left standing come Halloween or thereabouts?.....

American League:

Halos/Sox - I had high hopes for the Halos, but Lackey is a mess at Fenway and I really don't trust their bullpen at all since Shields lost his mind.

Tribe/Yanks - Wang goes in game 1, Tribe win the series. Petitte goes in game 1, Yanks win the series. Borowski could easily turn in performances reminiscent of Byung Hung Kim's collapses against the Yanks.

National League:

Phils beat Padres. Rockies beat Phils. Too bad, because I wanted to see Rockies and Phils in NLCS.

Cubs/Dbacks - Who cares, either will lose in the NLCS.

Sox over Phills, Cole Hamels/Pat Burrell/Chase Utley coming out party(Because we already know about Howard/J-Roll and a little bit about Rowand), but Sox offense kicks it into gear while Dice-K turns it up a notch and helps lead Boston to a title in his very 1st year in the States!!!

I over heard a worker at Walmart today tell some co-workers that whoever the AL team is in the WS will win. I don't buy that. I think the NL has as good of chance. I'm going with the D-backs in a surprise upset to everybody.
