Brock, how may white russians did you have tonight? The game isn't in the 5th inning yet. Will the Astros win? Most likely not, but geez.

Might be? LOL
Its a no brainer JJ, no thought required, blindly bet, if they start out 0-10 or worse, you will have made a winning play every single day, so far 0-4, i've been against them 2 games in a row for big paydays. Nobody needs to worry about figuring out, "ok maybe this will be the day they finally win", you just keep fading away till they win a game, pretty simple.
These opportunities don't come up THAT often at the start of the year, but if you know your baseball history, when they start off bad, and can't get out of it early, it can snowball into something really ugly, in the meantime, we all need to clean up.
Any questions?? LOL

The Phillies could have scored 15 runs tonight. They had bases loaded in 2nd and 3rd innings I believe and didn't score. The Astros really do suck.

I'm definitely jumping on this too....especially tonight....Moyer is looking great and I think that all the Phillies need is like 3 runs.... and its over

I was curious how this would work out- so i back logged standing though 2003.
Since then 22 teams have been swept in thier opening series.
12 won game 4, 2 went 0-4, 3 0-5, 2 0-6, 2 0-7, 1 0-8.
Overall fading all these teams till they win would result in a record of 27-21.*
by year
2009, 2 teams (WSH,Cle), 6-2
2008 1 team (Det) 4-1
2007 5 teams (Balt,Tex,Phi,Hou,StL) 1-4*
2006 2 teams (Phi,Pit) 4-2
2005 2 teams (NYM, Pitt) 2-2
2004 2 teams (tor,sea) 2-2
2003 8 teams (Tor,ChW,Det,Atl,Cin,MLW,Col,SD) 8-8

Houston is terrible so bet against them until they win a game. Beating Philadelphia is tough already anyway for anyone to do.

I've been making the most of this by playing PHI -1 & PHI -2 rather than the ML. They're currently sitting at -124 and +134 respectively and makes your money go much further (ML = -150) in a series where you're not just expecting wins, but beatdowns..

True this team has an absolutely abysmal offense, outs side of Hunter Pence amd Carlos Lee, no other stater on the Team has posted an OPS+ over 100 in the last two years and have career OPS+'s less than 100.

i use the 88 Orioles and 97 Cubs as my measuring stick, if we can reach even close to those levels, we've made a fortune.

lol I love free money. How you feel about Moyer tonight though. I followed him for years with the Mariners but does this guy have anything left in the tank?
