Call me crazy here and all, but I like C.C. and the Tribe in this game. The Tribe should be the small favorite in this game IMO, and the only reason there not is for the fact that the books have to try and even out there action because it's the Yankees.

EDIT: CHC -120/ZONA +110(I swear that was the line when i checked last night, did it move THAT MUCH overnight or did Pinnacle just have up a f'ed up line last night, cause I SWEAR TO GOD thats what it was when I checked it, wonder if they would have honered that had I taken the Cubs at +135...thats a 55 cent difference and I know it was like that at least at the time I was looking at it at the time of my original post)

Cubs are the only dog I'm considering, don't think CLEV and LAA are all that great!

Zona is going into the playoffs the wrong end. Carrying a winning momentum is all too important, and they have all but 2 wins in their last week of regular season play. I assume the wild card winner on monday will be playing the Phils. I would have loved Zona to be playing the Phils...and i would have backed Phils all the way.

NYY vs Cleveland
Obviously there will be a cinderella team...I just find it hard that clev will be it and if they CAN however beat the yanks (with all those dangerous hitters stacked from top to bottom), they may indeed be wearing the glass slippers.
Unfortunately for Clev, sabathia will only be getting 2 starts in this series and i think they need him to win both of them to stand a chance. Yea i know Carmona's a 19 game winner, but those 19 wins didnt come vs a team with big hitters like the yanks have.
LAA/ Bosox seems tough to me. The obvious big hitters and playmakers (like ortiz, ramirez, youkilis, guerrero, anderson and matthews jr), all the focus will be on them and preventing major damages done by these players, it will all come down to clutch hitting when these guys are pitched around or are pitched to when no one is one base.

Lackey is an absolute gas can at Fenway. If he wasn't pitching there, I'd consider the Halos.

The Angels have very little chance of beating Boston. Given Lackey's troubles against Boston, his 2 starts basically equal 2 L's for the Halos. Unless you expect them to sweep the remaining 3 games, don't waste your money. Shields also has had problems pitching against the Sox, and Vlad won't see a single pitch to hit the entire series.

the D-Backs beat the Rockies when it counted, the first game of the series and stopped COLO's 11 game winning streak. Before they played on Saturday, they had already clinched the Division title and home field. They rested players and the rest is history. Don't count them out. They have some of the best young talent in MLB.
