20% of your bankroll on a single game is a losing proposition over time any way you cut it.

If you really want to see how far you can take it you should be betting 2-3 dollars a game, then when you get to 200 bump it to 4-6.

You wont be under the pressure and can take a bad hit.

One bad day could wipe out your roll.

Professor, you are missing his point, by reducing your wagers you don't have to say things like "Hopefully I get to 300 then I will drop the wagers to about 10 bucks a game". lol If you reduce your wagers then you don't have to HOPE you'll make it, with good capping and discipline you WILL KNOW that you will make it!!! Making it to a landmark of 300 only to LOWER your wager amount makes ZERO sense, LOWER IT NOW, and raise it a bit when you hit 300. That would probably help get you where you want to go (through the year).... Just saying!!

Slowey is very solid, but i'm not sure people are overestimating lackey, you may in fact be UNDERESTIMATING him!!! Against the twins last year he went 7 and 2/3s gave up 2 runs and 4 hits, and I'd venture to say this twins team isn't AS good as last years, and Lackeys team this year is BETTER than last years. Last year during day games he wen 5-1 with an era in the 2.12 and in 59 innings struck out 55 batters. Again I'm not sure people will overestimate lackey as much as you may UNDERESTIMATE him. Now Slowey for the twins is very very Underestimated, therefore the bet here is the UNDER!!!

My main reason for picking the Twins is Slowey has a career home record of 17-4 while Lackey has a 3-2 record at Minnesota.

Slowey's home record was in a different stadium, just something to think about and his home era is 3.87 not spectacular but solid, his day era however is a very unimpressive 5.99 and his era against boston is 4.63 and his era in april is 4.85. I'm not trying to talk you out of a wager just trying to give a different perspective. I'm not taking either side in that game, their are plenty of better value games out there. Yanks over is definitely one i'm leaning towards, as well as the a's money line, indians and marlins also look to be very good valued home teams...
