I think it's a coin flip, but I like Matsui a little better.

Two 35 year olds with pretty equal stats. Gotta give a slight edge to Vlady as he swipes a few bags a year and is pretty much guaranteed to hit at least .300 each year whereas Matsui hasn't stolen a bag in over two years and he usually hits around .275-.285.

Vlad all the way. Better average, I expect him to have slighlty better numbers than Matsui this year, barring injury--which is the only thing that scares me about him.

vlad is in a pitchers park but is capable of hitting very long homers. matsui is in a pitchers park more of a line drive hitter

i took vlad
