Thoughts on MLB online premium service??
Anybody ever shared MLB premium online services with a friend? I am going to purchase it and was going to let my friend use it but don't want to have any issues. Would we both be able to use it at the same time from different computers? I see these other services streaming them for free every once in awhile but its a pain in the ass.

    TIA for any feedback.

I purchased MLB online. Pretty impressive package. Figured it wasn't worth the hassle of trying to get a knockoff site.

I am thinking you can't do that, but I am not 100% sure...

I had it years ago and it seems like I left it logged in at work and couldn't watch it when I got home. I could be wrong though.

I attempted to purchase it and for some reason it wouldn't take either of my credit cards. I contacted support 3 days ago, and one time since and have yet to hear anything back.

I know that's not an answer to your question, but take the information for what it's worth.

Just got MLBtv too, definitely looks worth the money. No more watching the gamecasts.

Hopefully that is not an indication of their customer support. I didn't have any trouble with the transaction and am still trying to get to know all the features that come with the package. Glad I made the purchase. I have yet to try it on two computers at the same time, but I will let you guys know if it works in case you are contemplating a purchase as well.

Great Investment. Only a $100 is well worth it.
And yes, you can share and access from multiple computers.

I got MLB.tv Premium for the first time this season and I'm thrilled. It's definately worthwhile. No connection issues at all, all the games I want, choice of home or away commentators, all the games archived etc etc.

While I doubt you can connect at the same time as someone else, I know for a fact that it works on several computers in the same household. I've got a LAN at home and had it working both on my desktop machine and one of my laptops at the same time.

Great value. I am pretty positive you cannot watch in two locations. Too many people would take advantage of this.

For what its worth, I just confirmed I can watch a game on my computer and a game on my iphone(3g) at the same time. So unless the iphone is treated differently, you can log in from two locations.

It starts off really close to TV.. but every little hiccup sets you back a bit. I haven't measured but I wouldn't be surprised if you were a couple minutes back over the course of an hour or so. Different connections will get different results. You can always fast forward if you fall behind. Could you day-trade with it? No. Is it a good deal for $100? Absolutely.
