I have no idea how what kind of plays are smart, or advantageous. So I just stay away.

They give next inning odds of score/no score or which team will have more hits that inning. Im sure the thinking is to bet against team having most hits when the weakest part of their lineup is coming up, especially when the pitcher is hitting.
