not sure but if it closes at -6.5 then mich st is the play. i personally like NW but i dont know shit about college. it seems as if NW was hammered and now the books are moving back up to make people take mich st. one of my systems has always take the original fave if the line moves against them but comes back to the original #. so it has to come back to the original # of -6.5. nw is only good at +7.

yep great pick on Texas tonight LB. I tailed for 5 units. I don't want Texas to win the series, George Bush there acting like he didn't ruin his entire country, cheering for a team that he ran into the ground like he's a part of something. I will probably barf off my balcony if they win just out of disgust for Bush. However, I've always been a huge fan of Vladdy during the Expos days, and Hamilton seems to be moving towards future hall of famer numbers since his return to baseball.

Tim Lincecum vs Clifford Lee. That will be something special to see.

"The Spartans followed up impressive upset wins over Wisconsin and Michigan with a lackluster effort against Illinois last week (they trailed 6-3 before scoring 23 unanswered second-half points). Now they leave their own state for the first time, having played four of their first five games at home plus the quick trip to face Michigan.

Michigan State is catching Northwestern at a bad time (coming off a loss and a bye). After ripping off five straight wins to start the season – three by a combined seven points – the Wildcats were stunned by Purdue two Saturdays ago, losing 20-17 as an eight-point home chalk. In fact, Northwestern has been favored in all six of its games this season. Now the Wildcats are a home underdog against an opponent that’s essentially traveling for the first time and has been playing above its head all season.

Northwestern has covered in five of the last six meetings with the Spartans (all as an underdog), and the Wildcats have been money as an underdog (4-0 last four), as a medium-range underdog (22-6 last 28 when catching between 3½ and 10 points) and as a medium-range home underdog (8-1 last nine when catching between 3½ and 10 points). Additionally, Northwestern is 12-4 ATS in its last 16 games following a loss and 6-2 ATS in its last eight after a bye.

Michigan State (1-3-1 ATS on the road last year) has covered in four straight games, but that just means this pointspread is jacked up (especially since Northwestern is in an 0-3 ATS rut). The Wildcats have the offense (27.7 points, 425.7 yards per game) to trade points with the Spartans, and four of their first six games have been decided by five points or less.
