yeah it looks like it with Timmy on the mound. but yanks looked done as well. they do have roy halladay though .

They have Halladay, but this was a demoralizing loss and the players have to be second-guessing the decisions made by old man river, too.

I must've missed all of that but no one in this thread should be yapping about you annoying them if LB's cool with it. We all know you wanted this team to do well - it's not like you've really hid it.

And this isn't a thread full of yahoos taking shots at LB - just the same old crew who have been together for quite awhile now. We're not always going to agree on the same side but it's all good. Although this live betting bullshit can royally piss off now. Scalping my ass off and got fukked on the RLs when I refuse to even take them before the game starts.

Yet by not doing it, it probably cost him his job -- because the only thing worse than balking at your closer there is turning to your ace and having it backfire.

yup but it was a dumb move. they should have sent lidge home before the playoffs if they didnt want him. the guy isnt that bad. he usually comes in when they have the lead, this time it was tied. it was a stupid move.

Will this really cost him his job? The guy took the phillies out of the gutter and made the playoffs, then the world series twice in a row, then won the regular season only to lose to a magical Giants that has shown some of the best pitching in modern times for the past two months (and times their run perfectly, get just enough to win a game). I thought you're allowed to make questionable decisions if you accomplish that. He did that, right? Or was it someone else?
