Hello I play mostly the money line sports so I am very excited for MLB to finally be here.I also have a NHL Thread.
Best play on the board is Seattle Mariners.
Felix Hernandez is the best pitcher casual fans don't know.Seattle is also 8-2 in Hernandez's last 10 starts vs. OAK and 17-5 in the last 22 meetings altogether.Oakland has Ben Sheets on the mound coming back from elbow surgery after missing all of 2009.He has also gotten roughed up this spring with an ERA of 11.20 which is better than the 31.15 it was after his 1st 3 starts.Look out for Seattle once Cliff Lee gets back. They could be the surprise of 2010.
Like to a lesser extent the Rockies over the Brewers.Rockies won all 6 meetings last year and are 13-3 last 16.Ubaldo Jimenez gets a tough match up vs Gallardo but he seems to be getting better year after year.
A little less I like the Marlins over the Mets. Marlins are 4-0 in Johnsons last 4 road starts vs. Mets and 6-0 overall.Santana is a question mark for the Mets and if I had to answer I'd say he is done. Also like the prop of Manuel being first manager fired this year.
Yet another play I really like but the juice is kinda high is the White Sox.Another pitcher who missed all last year with surgery is Westbrook who Cleveland sends to the mound. Also I know its going back a way but White Sox are 4-0 in the last 4 meetings when Buehrle faces Westbrook.
***** Seattle Mariners -125
**** Colorado Rockies +115
*** Florida Marlins +110
** Chicago White Sox -160
Just for the fun of it
Phils -190
That is a lot of juice if you wanna lay it
Reds +135
Rangers -135
Pittsburgh +135
Atlanta -125
Arizona -185
Minnesota +120
Det/KC
Under 7
Under is 9-1 in Greinkes last 10 starts vs. Tigers against pitchers other than Verlander. Add Verlander to that equation
SF/Hou
Under 7
Probably cheapest you will get Linecum all year but Oswalt has been lights out this spring.
Good luck this season
