Based on pitching matchups, I like these ML plays
    Opening Day (4-5):
    Texas
    LA Dodgers
    White Sox
    Philadelphia
    Colorado
    LA Angels
    Arizona
    Seattle

Thoughts, comments, etc. would be appreciated. As long as this thread doesn't bomb, I'll try to keep up a daily record.

Texas- Don't trust Feldman - 4.49 xFip, 275 BabiP last year means he will look alot worse this year, If there's a reason to like Texas it is not thier pitching,

Feldmann against Marcum -- that's over city IMHO.

I agree on Feldman..... but starting pitching matchups on opening day is not that important.... bullpen, team defense, lineup and starting pitching

Good luck this year man. As a Braves fan, I think Zambrano and the Cubs have an excellent shot of beating Lowe and my Braves tomorrow.

I like your plays, save for Arizona. I think the Padres offer some great value tomorrow. San Diego should surprise people this season.

I'm not betting against Haren. Pound for pound, he might be the best pitcher in baseball -- especially in the first half of the season.

7-1, with a five-team parlay to boot that hit. Not a bad OD! I actually didn't play the Dodgers or Angels, so wound up 7-0 on my personal plays with an add of the Arizona/SD over (though I only bet small, due to the season being so early and unpredictable).

I'll try and keep this thread updated daily if possible.

                          BOL to everyone!

Maybe for just the 1H of the season but u can't really believe that haren is pound for pound the best pitcher in the league. Felix, lincecum, carpenter, greinke, halladay, off the top of my head r all better than haren bro.
I really like the twins to beat the angels tomorrow. They always play te angels tough and I think Blackburn gets the win to tie the series up. Have u taken a look at that game yet?

Thanks, fellas. Haven't had a chance to look very closely at today's games yet, though I'd probably start with the Tampa Bay ML as a "square" play.

I also like SD over Arizona. Not a fan of Edwin Jackson, and I think Chris Young is underrated.

                                                    Houston -1.5 (+165)
                                                    Milwaukee -1.5 (+130)

Based on the line, I like:

                                                    Orioles +190
I'm not feeling Baltimore. Shields has a pretty good track record against them. I do think it will be a relatively low scoring game, though, and I suppose Millwood could be the neutralizer and help them pull out a 3-2 type victory.

Shields has been great against the O's but it's not a coincidence that the Rays are 2-6 in his L8 home starts. If Millwood has an excellent time on the mound, the O's have a decent chance at a W.

I do think the O's will be a good spoiler team this year. I like their makeup. Really like the young bucks: Wieters, Reimold and Matusz.
