tampa bays losing streaks last year, with 4 loss or more:

may ==> 4 games (against indians and marlins)
july ==> 4 games (against jays and rangers)
august ==> 5 games (against mariners, angels and jays)
september ==> 11 games (against red sox, tigers, yankees and red sox again)

Mike, I'm sorry some people in this thread are either too lazy or too stupid to find odds on their own, then decide if it is a good play for them based on their style and bankroll. Truth is, if you posted odds with your picks, these same people would show up bitching that they couldn't find the same line and accuse you of cooking the books (I see it in EVERY thread on every gambling forum I visit). You aren't going to win with these tools. Also, you mess up my ignore list when you quote them!

Where did pimike say he doesn't care about the odds? He just doesn't post them. I think we can all figure out the odds for any game at this point on our own.

I remember last season, pimike was taking huge favorites like the Pirates, Indians, and Nationals, and winning. If you have followed him for a while, you'd know that the odds of the picks vary throughout the season.

If you think TEAM A will win 65% of the time then you don't bet on them if the ML drops below -186 as that would be -EV. Now if the line drops further to say -250 then you should bet on TEAM B @+250 (no vig for simplicity's sake) despite a TEAM A win still being the likely result.

But playing TEAM A regardless of the odds even if it's -EV is a good way to go broke. That's all I'm saying.

How should I know what he thinks the true winning probabilites are and which lines have value? Maybe he thinks they will win 80% of the time and therefore even -250 would be perfectly fine.

Besides when you want to tail someone's picks it's probably because you can't figure it out on your own. Otherwise you would have already made a bet yourself, right?

Let me just say, why all the hating in this thread and on Mike? I don't know Mike and I've only been following him for a little bit and to be honest I'm not sure whether I've figured out whether I think he is a great capper or not, I don't have a large enough sample size to make that conclusion (it appears from what others have said that he is good and the 1 months worth of results I have indicate that he probably is good). But even if I thought he sucked then I would just leave and follow other threads, start my own thread, etc. Mike barely says anything in this thread other than giving picks and occasionally defending himself, but why should he even have to do that. Nobody is paying him for his picks, he doesn't owe anyone anything, he just gives his picks out for free. So either take them or leave them, seriously what is the problem with some of you, it's pretty basic, your ATTENTION WHORES!!!!! If you are so good then start a thread, input the information that you think Mike should be showing in his thread and guess what??? If you pick winners consistently you'll have a ton of people on your thread too. But the reality is, if any of you haters could do this, you would have already done it and not be in here bashing someone who gives away free picks. The reality is you're not very good at capping because if you were you'd have your own threads, showing consistent positive results and not bothering to come in here and bash
