    NY Yankees
    Alfredo Aceves is questionable for Opening Day against the Red Sox as he deals with pain in his back.
    Francisco Cervelli is questionable for Sunday's opening day game against the Red Sox as he deals with a hamstring injury.
    Nick Johnsonfouled a pitch off his right knee in Friday's game against the Orioles. He is questionable for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.
    Jorge Posada is expected to start Sunday's opening game against the Red Sox although he is dealing with a neck strain.
    Mark Teixeira is probable for Sunday's opener against the Red Sox as he nurses a bruised right elbow. He was hit by a pitch Monday against the Orioles, but has managed to return to the lineup since receiving treatment on Tuesday.

    Boston
    Daisuke Matsuzaka is expected to make his return April 23 against the Orioles as he deals with tightness in his neck. It is believed that this is not a result of the back tightness he suffered earlier in the spring.
    Junichi Tazawa has opted to undergo Tommy John surgery to repair a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow which will end his season.
