    would this work..
if you took one team and just bet them every game they play all season, whichever team you think is going to win would you end up down or up

if they exceeded expectations considerably, you'd probably be up. I think probably 8-10 teams would be in the black, but that's a really random guess. i think if you look at statfox before each team plays a game this year, it will tell you their record last year and their units.

well i think obviously you'd want to try and find a team that wins more than they lose.. unfortunately you'd be paying a higher vig on teams like that. i don't know if that'd be profitable. GL though!

It might not even be the best teams that will profit you the most. The Yankees could win 95+ games but theyll be at -170 half the time. Where a team like the Rockies could win 88+ and profit you more.

The teams overall record really doesn't matter too much because you're betting the lines, not the record. If you look at last years numbers, a team like Oakland was more profitable than the Yankees even though they only won 75 games. If you want to try this strategy I would recommend waiting for the first 10 to 12 games to be played first. At that time you could jump on the best team with a terrible record, that way you know you'll be getting good lines for the following 3 to 4 weeks.

just use service picks. they are free here and they would hit better than a strategy like that.

that would depend on how well you can cap that team - it may work simply because you can focus on researching that specific team, following any injuries/lineup changes trends etc.

the easier the team is to predict, say the Yankees, Redsox or Cards who will all win 90+ games or pit, KC or Wsh who will lose 90, will give you better winnning % but the pcks will all be more heavey favs

as opposed to a team like Col, Minn or Tex who will end up in the 82-86 range. but more games will be closer lines.
