Looks like the DH slot will be given to Eric Chavez. As an A's fan, I'm really surprised by the move. Cust strikes out a lot, but I like the power production that he can add to the anemic A's lineup.

I also have mixed emotions about this.
Cust strikes out alot and you know Chavez will be on the DL at least a couple times this year. I was reading an article about Chavez and it said that Geren plans on using him quite a bit at 1st Base.
Should be an interesting year. I see Crisp dislocated a finger.
