Everyone has money in their pockets thanks to Brock Landers and they are itching to give it back starting tonight in Boston. I will be posting plays most days and grade them on a "risk" or "to win" 1 Unit basis.(no matter how strong I feel about a game they will all be graded equally)

Tonights game has no hidden gems to find.. Lets face it, there's a bunch of vets in this game, we know what to expect from these guys. So anyone telling you they have a "Big" play tonight is about as swift as Pavyracer.. I can tell you most people are probably thinking that Sabathia and Beckett might struggle tonight at times as they have been known to do early in the year. This with the fact they are playing in Boston probably has some know it all's taking the OVER tonight.. Not the King, I think we will see a sharp game from both Starters tonight, some hitters are a little banged up and with the temp in the 60's Im going small on the under. Look for Redsox Unders to become a trend for bettors early on this season.

Playing the Under on opening night in Fenway was a mistake..

Although it was a small play it was still "forced" and the King will make up for this mistake.

It's the real opening day in MLB and everyone is feeling good. I see about 53 "heres my picks" threads and i have a funny feeling there will be about 4 left come May. Sure, there will be guys that get lucky and go 68-32 in April and everyone will think they have found the next great baseball mind. Dont be fooled people, there is maybe 3-4 guys here that watch the games and have the discipline to produce consistent winners.

So instead of betting on 9 games today like everyone else, just make a play or two and ENJOY the rest of the games today and you'll be shocked how much you'll pick up on when you're not sweating out multiple bets. It's a long season and surviving early is the key, there will be many spots this year to take advantage of bad lines, but if you're busted come mid-April, it wont matter.

On to today...

The Marlins have the better starter going today and a better lineup.. Sometimes making a pay is that simple. The value here is betting against the big name of Johan Santana...Going with the first five innings to take the bullpens out of play.
