I don't see Lind or Hill producing much more than last year, unless somehow Vernon Wells lives up to his contract and provides some protection in the lineup, Hill and Lind will be pitched to very carefully...

Yeah if Wells returns to form they will be in for big years and if Snider can step his game up then the lineup will be pretty deadly.

We're not awful at all, but we won't win the division, It's not the most talented Jays team we've had but it's certainly not the worst roster we've had in the past few years...We'll start the season hot because we're a very driven and young team but we will fade and we'd be lucky to even sniff 3rd in the division let alone 4th.....

Wait and see....the rotation is much better than you may think, Gaston on the other hand, is an idiot...But in his defense, the Jays are paying Wells ALOT of money what else can we do ? No one will trade for him because of the inflated contract, we have to have faith in him and hope he somehow pulls out of his funk...

I agree with you. They are obviously playing in the toughest division in baseball, but I think Toronto could still have a pretty solid year. I'm hoping that Aaron Hill's season last year wasn't just a mirage.

I'm certainly hoping for it! Hill & Lind are the core of this young offense, if Vernon could just show some veteran leadership we could have a potent young offense and a promising young staff to at least compete for years...

Lind, Hill, Wells if he plays hard are a very good trio. Hill is one of the most offensive 2baggers in the game. Lind is a great hitter with power to both gaps. True they are a little thin and their pitchers are relatively inexperienced, but their starters could easily pull 12-15 wins apiece under the right conditions

dude, are you even from Canada? Gaston is the ONLY reason they shot up to the front of the AL East in 09' for the first 30 or so games. Pitching is thin this year, unless their starters play to their fullest potential 162 games. Tallet is gonna get lit up, Morrow is gonna get lit up. I think Marcum and Romero will eventually be the 1-2.

And you said Hill and Lind are going to get pitched to very carefully. Yeah that happened last year too, both still crush the balls.
