Will Yankees win over 95 games this year?

Please, can anyone give me a good reason why I shouldn't bet the Yanks will win over 95 games this year?

Last year they play to some luck, there Pythag record was 95-67.

The offense wont be as good this year as last,

they replaced Matsui (876ops) Damon (854ops) Cabrera (754ops) with Nick Johnson (831ops), Curtis Granderson (780ops) and Bret Gardner (724ops)

Posada is 38 and odds of him posting another 885 OPS is slim,
Jeter is 36 and noy sure he can post another year like last year (third higest OPS of his career)

Pitching may also struggle -
They lost Jose Molina, who was a great defesie catcher and may have to lean on Posada to catch more, who had on of the worst Cather ERAs in the league.

Burnett is due to be injured ( last year was the 1st time he made it through 2 full seasons)
Petite is 38 and his periphrials are trending down (worst k/9, BB/9 & FIP of his career)
Vazquez is making the dreaded NL -> AL jump, and last time in NY he posted a 92 ERA+, has been called out for not being able to handle pressure and has been barely over league average in AL years.
Phil Hughes is going back to being a starter, and it worked out pretty bad last time.
Rivera will be 40 -- well never mind that, he'll prbably still be in best closer in baseball.

Plus they have to play 57 games vs Bos and TB and a much improved Baltimore team.

injuries , but also if a couple guys start to slump around the same time , that will hurt , but , the yankees have the talent if healthy could reach 95

I think they are very good, but winning more than 95 will be very tough in that division with the Sox and Rays.

Take the over man. Yankees pitching is improved, the bullpen is far better than it was this time last year and they've got four solid and proven starters. Their offense is worse, but the Red Sox and Angels lost offensive weapons too. The Yanks are in the best shape of the three. I'd pick the Yanks to be the team to beat in the American League, and they will have over 95 wins.

You may want to consider UNDER as the play here. Yanks will have a decent season as always but this will be a hard fought division this year. Just my two cents but what do I know I am a Mets fan,,,lol

I can't remember ever playing an 'over' 95 in my life. Did ok playing the Yankees 'under' that total before. Could be wrong, but NYY and Philly are the only two teams that I can see reaching 96 or more wins this season.

Their age could very well lead to injuries. They have a pretty good rotation but I think Boston and Tampa have better rotations. Im just going to stay away from this one.
