    easy baseball money play
bet on world series winner ml for the opening game.

bet against world series loser ml for the opening game.

worst case 1-1, most likely you'll go 2-0

yeah but if you go 1-1 and give up the vig on that heavy favorite (the yankees) it will be annoying. Although they wont be that heavy favorites over the sox.

Does SBR have a "All Time Dumbest Threads" sub-forum?

This one would fit nicely in there.

interesting concept... seems like the type of angle that has historical success... did you look at the schedule this year?

                  you would be playing:

Washington against Philly (Halladay on the mound)

                  and

                  NYY at Fenway

these plays could go 1-1, but I would say this year, 1-1 would be best case... it may even very likely go 0-2

at 5Dimes right now, Yanks are +104 vs Sox.

And how can the OP say "worst case 1-1"???

Can't bet against Halladay in 1st game with the Phillies. Especially against Washington Nationals.

Just to let you guys know, I just did a quick check on the past 3 years, and each year this "system" went 1-1 each year. I didn't do the math on the actual lines but it appears it would come out to about even, give or take a few fractions of a unit.

I'd say this is a waste of time. Just go by who is playing.
