Your Best Over/Under Total Wins for 2010
I know it's a long season but throwing something around and forgetting about it is fun every once in awhile... (not of fan of tying money up)

However i like TB and the under.... slow start = sell off = Losses

Gonna concur here, got them at 89.5 U early. Concur with Loblaw on the CWS over............gotta love all that pitching.

I may be bias because I'm a Mariners fan, but they had 85 wins last season and I don't see them being worse than last year. It'd be nice to see them in the mid 90s.

I do not believe the St Louis Cardinals will achieve 89 wins so under 88½ seems a nice pick to me. My theory is based solely on the thought of injuries and most every bases fan I have spoken to is loving the over. Myself being a contrarian like the under.

                    Good luck

I'm not sold on Seattle either, they need to get off to a quick start or they will be sellers. They need to get a lot out of Bradley and Junior. Ichiro, Lopez, and Figgins but a bunch of question marks after that. But, the West isn't that strong, so they could stay in the hunt and add a player to push them over. I think this one falls right around the number, so it's a no play for me.

ChiSox Over. Also don't laugh at that Pirates Over. They have some pieces on offense, pitching sucks - but they might be more competitive than some think. They're also in a division where there is one "great" team I guess in St.Louis and then some murk with Milwaukee, Chicago, Cincy and Houston. They've been my team for a long time and it's not going to be a winning season, but I'm hoping to see some of the future begin to materialize. Excited to see Alvarez.

I agree the Ms need to find some power in their line up to be competitive for a playoff spot but they have the defense to keep them in contention. At any rate, we'll be seeing a lot of low-scoring games here.

I think we're gonna need Lee back though, but if history is any indicator I probably shouldn't be getting my hopes up too much.

With the admission that I'm a huge fan and haven't looked at anything quantitative, the Jays over looks extremely appealing to me.

I hope the Buccos can get over 70 this year, I really hope they could put together a winning season and put an end to this miserable streak but 70 would be a start in the right direction.

The only thing that really worries me Miners, is their bullpen. I project them at 76-86 this year.

Finishing at or above .500 is definitely not out of the question.

My theory is based solely on the thought of injuries and most every bases fan I have spoken to is loving the over. Myself being a contrarian like the under.

I might make Detroit UNDER my 2nd best bet.... Look at their Lineup 6-9... Full of .220 hitters.
In the AL that doesn't cut it.

Their 4th and 5th starters are horrible.
Their #3 is a NL transplant... they always do wonderful their first year in a real league.

For the record TB UNDER & Detroit UNDER take em to the bank in October

It's not a bad side to take on the brewers, but I don't know about the Reds being better than them. Astros maybe, but not the Reds.

They need to get a lot out of Bradley and Junior. Ichiro, Lopez, and Figgins but a bunch of question marks after that. But, the West isn't that strong, so they could stay in the hunt and add a player to push them over. I think this one falls right around the number, so it's a no play for me.
