I am too lazy to cut and paste your quotes.

But that was pretty good to call The Philly game to hit on 9 exactly and Mets to have 6 runs in 3 2/3 innings.

But your damn prediction on the Jays to be a trap I dont like since I got Jays.

Could have got some great odds on the 6 runs in 3 2/2 I bet.

    Good job sir !!!!

The 8 runs Olsen gave up were all unearned . I'm pretty amazed by that . I've never seen that before , 8 runs given up by a starter all unearned . Was the first time ever in the history of baseball probably .

Yeah I actually meant to predict they'd all be unearned too, I forgot to mention that.

And it seems odd that he gets credited with the loss since he didn't give up a single earned run but hey, that's baseball.

Can someone page Willie Bee's brain so it can advise whether this is a MLB record?

HG , I doubt too many people knew the guy gave up 8 unearned runs . Whoever did would have been watching the game .
I've never heard of anything like that happening .
Nice feedback though , very clever .
Did you have your leg holster on when you typed that shi# to me ? LOL

It's not a record, but it is the most unearned runs given up by a starting pitcher without allowing an earned run in more than three years. Former Braves lefty Horacio Ramirez allowed eight runs, all unearned, against the Rockies in Colorado on May 2, 2004. I'll keep digging to see what the record is for most unearned allowed without allowing an earned run.

Ok, found two instances where a pitcher gave up more than eight unearned runs without allowing an earned run.

Chris Reitsma worked four innings against the Astros on July 3, 2002, giving up nine unearned runs and zero earned runs.

Andy Hawkins started for the Yankees on June 5, 1989, and was yanked one out into the third, eventually charged with 10 unearned runs without an earned run. New York booted six in that game, including a very uncharacteristic 2-E game by Donnie Baseball.

Ok, even though it appears nobody but me cares about this any longer, Hawkins' 10 tally is the record for most unearned runs allowed without allowing an earned run.

You can also add add Bobby Jones to the list of those who allowed nine unearned without allowing an earned run, doing so on May 2, 1994 for the Mets vs. the Giants.
