There is a full no trade clause so i dont see him getting traded. Minnesota is a mid-market team not a small market team the have been right around the 16th highest payroll for quite awhile. Considering how well the Twins have been at building a team through the draft and small trades, I see them staying competetive (though maybe not ever making WS) through the end of Mauer's contract
