I'll take this one too! Although i took the Tigers and got real lucky, they are a must no play for the remainder of the year for me. That was a dumb move, 2 outs, man on 1st and 2nd, u walk Sheffield to bring the winning run to 2nd, which means a single will most likely bring in the winning run, which it did. Another manager that is lacking oxygen to his brain.

I agree, I usually don't do well betting on Det.
I think the Jays will have a hard time with the Yankees next series.

i didn't play the game, but i thought Tor had it locked up, i've never been a fan of walking people, especially with 2 outs.

No comment on toronto series. They are a homer team. But the listed pitchers nyy have going for them in the 3-game series, hughes, mussina and kennedy? jeeez, maybe jays caught a break and didnt have to face wang, pettite and clemens. Then u take a look at the opening line and they have hughes as a fav at -129. Staying away from this series completely.

I like NY tonight. The Jays just returned home from Detroit and Tampa after losing three in a row including two where they lead 4-1 in the ninth, both AJ Burnett and Doc Halladay got no decisions in those games where the Jays bullpen blew those 3 run leads.
Marcum has pitched well but was hit hard two starts ago and looked shaky.
While Toronto was flying from Tampa to Detroit and back to Toronto, the Yankees have been resting up at their Toronto hotel.
Toronto on a 3 game losing streak and Yankees winners of 5 in a row.
I'm on the Yankees -124

I was really thinking the people to be on the BJays with the good value , home team , in big lights yet really under the radar Marcum starting . Marcum having some shaky starts makes the value seekers jump off this game with Jays or the bullpen disasters ? If Marcum was on hot streak would it make a difference ? One start does in fact have nothing to do with tonights game in tor actually marcum ishotter than cold but their bullpen is not even worth mentioning , this game is fascinating really to handicap . tossup , over seems the play to me .

I believe Glaus will be out (not 100% certain)
Lyle Overbay not hitting well lately, and this team continues to underperform. This bet is more of a fade of the Jays against a very hot club (that I really don't like personally) play is Yanks -124

Glaus is not in the lineup sheet. Adams will be at 3rd tonight. I know i said i'll stay completely away from this series but I'll take a shot at it LOL
Im liking jays on this one betplom. I know marcum was hit hard his last 2 home starts but this team has a history of losing on the road, then coming back home and playing better. They also have a history of where their top pitchers pitch well and get the lost, then coming back and winning with average pitchers. i like marcum's matchup with hughes at the price it is now (+124) GL

I wish I had played the over. Both pitchers are walking batters and giving up hits early.

I wish I had taken my own advice and not play it. Good hit betplom. Marcum looked brutal prior to that grand salami. Tired, not interested, no confidence in his stuff...almost as if he wanted gibbons to take him out. Yanks look scary now. They looked pumped and ready for the strech drive.
