Does anyone like the Mariners to win the division this year? Arguably the best 1-2 starter punch in all of baseball. With any offensive help King Felix could win the Cy Young this year.
Over or under 83.5 wins?

Any team with Milton Bradley is going to need all the help they can get.

Their offense still has a long way to go if they're going to be a World Series caliber team. Their pitching is fantastic though. A win in the AL West wouldn't surprise me.

Name a better 1 2 in the MLB... if those two stay healthy they have a great chance to win. also with chone and ichiro at the top of the lineup they can kill teams with small ball.

Mariners drastically improved this Winter. The AL West is going to be one of the toughest divisions in baseball. Like someone else mentioned, 83.5 wins seems spot on for a total. I'd think about going with the over though.

Beckett-Lester, Webb-Haren, Carpenter-Wainwright...imo. The Mariners should edge out Texas to win the west if Rich Harden goes down as expected.

I think they can win about 90 games this year. Should have a pretty good pitching staff with Felix and Lee. Not sure how their offense is looking this year though.

Who are their pitchers after Felix and Lee?? Bedard has question marks, rowland-smith isn't very experienced at all, and do they have a 5 yet? Ian Snell leaves a lot to be desired IMO. There offense isn't very scary either. Ya Figgins and Ichiro will get on, but do they have too many people to drive them in? No, not really. They'll be average-ish, at most a little above average if Milton gets back on track (which I think he could, Seattle is a lot different than SEA). Lots of questions here, 83.5 seems good to me

They had the best era in the AL last year without Lee so I think the roation will be fine.

you think lee will have a 2.6 ERA after moving to a new league to compensate for washburn? Don't believe it

I think hitting is their question mark. Not much power at all and drops off after the 4 hole.

Ichiro-Figgins at the top of the order is going to be a huge pain in the ass for opposing pitchers, and obviously the 1-2 punch in the rotation and the defense speak for themselves. The M's could definitely use a power bat but they are well-equipped to win the West with the Angels seemingly regressing. Texas will be right there as well. Should be a great race.

Think they will be improved but will struggle to keep pace with the overall speed power and pitching of the al .. They are no where as deep as they need to be as well

I don't think he will have a 2.6 era, but as the number 2 started behind Felix it doesn't need to be that low.
