2-1 yesterday. Who would've thought that Livan Hernandez could be so good on the road? Maybe the SD offensive is so bad.
I really don't like much today, so will only post a few leans. I think today might be a day to watch.
PHI (+) This team is too good at home, and I think the Mets are struggling at the plate. Wright has not been hitting, Alou has cooled off, and Delgado is 1 for twentysomething. Sry, Conine does not scare me, nor does Milledge, and the return of Chavez only helps IF he gets on base. Eaton returns from some shoulder issue and I think will do well at home. If this game was in NY, I'd be all over the Mets. Glavine has not been great since MIL.
STL (-) Looper has been solid, and Williams has been steady. Neithe roffense has been consistent. The main factor I'm looking at is ERA/WHIP against. Looper is 3.00/1.2 vs. Hou while Williams is 6.68/1.6. The management shakeup is another factor.
ARZ (-) SD was lucky to get out of that game with a win, and I really don't think they have the answer for Webb. Germano has been getting worse as this year goes.
Believe it or not, the 2 AL games I may play tonight are TB/BAL OVER 10.5 and NYY. Cabrera and Hammels = runs. Petite is the best pitcher on that Yankees squad, and the Bosox don't hit for Dice-K.
