Enjoyed this thread yesterday, and I believe we won all our "best plays" but one though I am not 100% sure. Figured I would start this thread early... best of luck to all today.

My play of the day:




Seattle -111 at home against LAA. Made a play against Mussina today because of how badly he has been pitching as of late... making a similar play tomorrow against Santana as he has been awful on the road against decent hitting teams all year.

Also liked Seattle to take at least one in this series, probably two, have to figure tomorrow they have a good shot at splitting the series and handing over the ball to Felix The Cat for game three. Good luck all.

Also forgot to add... LAA a below average team on the road despite their extremely talented team. Seattle on the other hand, one of the best home teams in baseball. Line is at -111 right now, but I see this one rising tomorrow during the day after Seattle got pounced today.

Both teams can hit...both have decent bullpens. This is about Santana on the road vs a home Seattle team with a now consistent Weaver pitching. For Weaver last 14 starts 11 given up 3 runs or less....for Santana last 7 starts 6 given up 4 runs or more. Santana on road ERA 8.06 record 1-9..his one road win was on June 9 in STL.
