    First time in 85 years.....
ESPN noting that the RedSox, by scoring double-digits in each game of their 4 game sweep over the ChiSox, became the first AL team to accomplish that since 1922. As a 'Sox fan I'm obviously impressed; But I'm more amazed at how rare of an occurence this is. Only the 4th time in MLB history apparently.....

The way the ChiSox are playing, it will probably happen again.

Stumpage, is it the first time in 85 years to score double-digits in a four-game series or a four-game sweep?

Bee, according to the exact wording, it appears that they are the first time in 85 years to score "At least 10 runs in each game of a 4 game series". So I guess whether or not they swept the series is irrelevant, at least in terms of this certain accomplishment.

Yeah, well you'd think scoring 10+ in each contest of a 4-game series that your team would sweep, but you never know.
