If you could pick any player to start-up a baseball
team who would you choose? Who would be your first
pick be out of all players??

Without question, Derek Jeter. He's the only player these days who plays the game the way its supposed to be played. The guy is a born leader and one of the most underrated players in the game. Check out the Yankees' highlight videos that are archived on their website some time. Some of the plays he makes just defy imagination and logic.
Off the field, he's got an incredibly successful Turn 2 Foundation and is one of the few professional athletes you would want your kid to look up to. I had the chance to meet Derek in Milwaukee when he was a rookie. My little brother had cancer and we got to meet some of the players before a Brewers/Yankees game. Derek was one of the Yankee players who we got to meet. He was the last player to leave us and had to be told three times that the game was about to start. I was a Yankee fan before this, but I became a diehard after that.
And to top it all off, the guy actually dumped Mariah Carey when she was really hot. How many guys can say that?!

If I chose a pitcher, it would be Santana hands down. Pujols would be second on my list. He's another one of the few class acts left among the baseball superstars. Vladimir and A-Rod would also make my list.

Pujols - He has a great combination of speed, power, and contact ability. The runs, homers and stolen bases will come from this 1st baseman. He also isnt a bad fielder at 1st base.

if bonds was younger, i would have chosen him for sure. because, that guy had it all in his prime.
